Portable Kitchen
Cast Aluminum Charcoal Grill and Smoker
$370

It's not a real summer gathering without the scent of seared meats and veggies drifting through the air. Distinguishing itself from some of the bulkier offerings out there, the portable PK Grill and Smoker removes all the bells and whistles for a simple, sleek look. The extremely durable (and rustproof) aluminum body—hand poured into molds at Little Rock, Arkansas—has a 4-way venting system to reach even and consistent temperatures. Easy to pack and go.

Nocturne Workshop
Otis Lamp
$400

East London’s Nocturne Workshop builds one-of-a-kind lighting solutions from responsibly sourced materials. Our favorite from their four-piece lineup (each named after a different musician) is the Otis Lamp: a subtly divergent tabletop piece fashioned from a rippling aluminum shade, a sturdy nickel-plated brass neck and an oiled oak baseplate. Because each lamp is made by founder Simon Day himself, bespoke finishes and custom colors are available upon request. Price is in GBP.

Wary Meyers
Cosmic Yuzu 'Terrazzo' Soap
$14

Who knew that soap scraps could create even more beautiful soap? We've long loved Maine-based Wary Meyers' artsy striped soap bars that bring the yacht-side sea breeze or Japanese cherry blossom right to the bathroom sink. Linda and John Meyers have been experimenting with soap scraps, and the result are terrazzo-like bars that evoke the work of designer Shiro Kuramata—who created his own special terrazzo by embedding colored glass in concrete. The visually stunning bars are available in two shades/scents: Cosmic Yuzu or Astral Shower.

Phaidon
Animals Are Delicious
$18

By Dave Ladd and Stephanie Anderson, "Animals Are Delicious" isn't as brutal as one might think. In fact, the kids' book explains three of the longest food chains within the animal kingdom—in a bright and playful way. Each food chain (terrestrial, avian and aquatic—our favorite is the underwater iteration) is given its own tactile foldout, so kids can exercise several senses at once.

Pocketo
Fruit and Vegetable Rattle Set
$12

Knitted from 100% cotton, this set of four fruit and vegetable rattles can provide endless entertainment for any bubula, while also remaining soft and safe for them to toss around. The brightly colored carrot, radish, pear and watermelon toys might also encourage little ones to start learning about the importance of healthy eating.

Kikkerland
Cork Flashlight
$30

Perfect for boating, beach nights or blackouts in the bathroom, this cork flashlight from Kikkerland is completely waterproof and—of course—floats. Lightweight and easy on the eyes, the flashlight contains bright LEDs so whether you're in the tub, on the high seas or searching for something in your car, it will light your way.

Master & Dynamic + Colette
Cobalt Blue MH40 Headphones
$453

NYC-based newcomers Master & Dynamic have been wooing both casual listeners and audiophiles with headphones that offer balanced, smooth sound and a noticeably durable build quality that doesn't cut corners. In a collaboration with Parisian boutique Colette, their flagship MH40 over-ear, closed-back design gets a fresh coat of bright cobalt blue—and each detail, from the memory foam ear pads wrapped in lambskin leather to the detachable woven cables, make them an ideal pair for daily use.

Alexander McQueen
Skull Socks
$70

Available in seemingly endless colorways (our pick is navy and brown), Alexander McQueen's classic skull motif is neatly patterned all over these socks. Calf-high and made in Italy from 76% cotton, 22% nylon and 2% elastane, the socks are a posh version of an everyday item that you'll truly want to show off.

Studio Yaacov Kaufman
Juice Bruce Lemon Squeezer
$18

If squeezing lemon and lime juice for summer cocktails doesn't make you grin, try using Juice Bruce: a wooden hand-juicer complete with a slightly bemused face. A super-simple and functional design, this little guy is also easy to use—whether you're making fresh juice for breakfast or crafting boozy concoctions for an afternoon by the pool.

Le Tampographe
"Fuck Everything" Stamp
$20

Measuring 12mm by 90mm, this rubber stamp can be gleefully pounded on every document that appears on your desk on a Monday. Reading (in all-caps, of course) "Fuck Everything," this office essential is made by Le Tampographe might prove quite useful. Price is in Euros.

Ruffino
Sparkling Rosé
$15

Composed predominantly of Prosecco grapes from northeastern Italy, Ruffino's new Sparkling Rosé carries a bright but elegant berry flavor. This extra-dry sparkling wine bears a crisp acidity and steers clear of overt sweetness—though it delights all the way through a long finish. It's certainly one of the best in its (ever-growing) category and retails at quite the affordable price.

Ten Speed Press
Smuggler's Cove Cocktail Book
$20

From the owners of SF's acclaimed Smuggler's Cove cocktail bar—consistently regarded as one of the best in the world—comes "Smuggler's Cover: Exotic Cocktails, Rum and the Cult of Tiki" and it's more than a manual for making drinks. Beyond the 100 historic and original recipes included, there's an in-depth look at the spirit that inspires it all: rum. And for those who like to garnish more than just their drinks, there are also plenty of tips on how to turn your home bar into a tiki haven.

Basshu
Green Chambray Apron
$72

Made from gently crafted, banshu woven 100% cotton, this Japan-made apron is perfect for all your spring and summer cooking adventures—whether grilling outdoors or concocting a breakfast smoothie. With two deep pockets to keep all your culinary tools in, this refreshing green chambray accessory is functional as it is comfortable.

Harry's
Three-Pack Lip Balm
$9

While some people's idea of kissable lips is glossy ones, Harry's understands that many of us just want an inconspicuous way to soothe chapped lips. Made with shea butter, their new lip balm relieves lips and also protects from the sun thanks to its SPF 15 formula. With a peppermint flavor and no shiny residue, this lip salve (which comes in a three-pack) is for those who want function over fashion.

Preservation & Co
Hefeweizen Bread and Butter Pickles
$13

Sacramento-based Preservation & Co is aptly named, and their Hefeweizen Bread and Butter Pickles are as good as you'd expect from preserving experts. There's not much beer in this concoction, so no need to worry about boozy lunches, instead just enjoy the slightly sweet and very zesty sandwich essential.
