Artist Nino Sarabutra
See how one Thai sculptor takes on the growing norms of societal over-indulgence
During our recent venture to Bangkok, we stopped by the home and latest exhibition of Thai artist Nino Sarabutra. Sarabutra showed us her portfolio of work, mostly consisting of porcelain sculptures, that lives throughout her house and garden. Sarabutra then guided us through the ideas behind her exhibit “What Are We Drinking?” in which she challenges social norms of consumption with her porcelain, glass and printmaking work.
