World famous lighting designer Marc Brickman on his incredible installation at NYC’s iconic building

On the 86th floor of New York City’s Empire State Building, we had the chance to talk with the man behind the structure’s elaborate light shows—world-renowned lighting designer, Marc Brickman. His most recent installation unveiled an extra 200 feet of LED lights, reaching the tip of the building’s massive antenna. Displaying up to 16 million colors, Brickman’s spectacular computer-programmed lighting design gives new energy to NYC’s iconic monolith.
