An Eco-Friendly Super-Yacht Concept

Max Zhivov’s super-yacht concept, the Sky Ya, still has the traditionally expected amenities (like a helipad and accommodations for crew and 10 passengers), but it also comes sporting two surprisingly eco-friendly features. Well-integrated solar panels provide energy and support the ship’s aesthetic. While personal gardens allow owners to plant and grow flowers, grass and vegetables—even while out to sea. It’s luxuriant and large (at 155-by-31-feet, making it a super-yacht but not quite a mega-yacht), but the attempt to harness some of the sun’s energy makes it a bit more of a responsible purchase.
