Poolside’s Summertime Playlist for Cool Hunting
A selection of songs celebrating the warmer months and their US tour
Celebrating the official start to summer and their tour (on now through September) Poolside made a CH-exclusive playlist for the warmer months. Spanning several genres and eras, the selection of songs includes everybody from Ashford & Simpson to the Lijadu Sisters and more. Poolside’s Jeffrey Paradise tells us, “For the playlist, I chose songs that are about longing, movement, change, transition.”
While they’re known for their specific brand of summery daytime disco, Paradise says, “Summer songs are really all about a feeling. They can be fast or slow, upbeat or low-key. It’s really a time to step away… So songs that reflect that sort of break from the everyday or evoke a special mood of nostalgia really work for me.”
