Celebrate the North with Askov Finlayson for Target

Both brands unite for a limited edition winter collection

Celebrating their beloved North, Askov Finlayson and Target (both founded and headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota) have teamed up for a limited edition winter collection featuring all kinds of goods to keep you warm. Available in 38 Minnesota stores and online, this collection makes perfect sense: Askov Finlayson founders Eric and Andrew Dayton’s great-great-grandfather, George Draper Dayton, founded the store which went on to become the Target Corporation. (Originally the store was named Goodfellow Dry Goods in 1902, then Dayton’s Dry Goods Company in 1903, and then Dayton Company in 1910.) Not only does this range celebrate their hometown, but also their family’s legacy.

Available now, the collection is made up of sweaters and T-shirts, beanies, mittens and bags, a cozy outdoor throw blanket and knitted beer koozies—even travel pet dishes and candles. All crafted for the colder months, several of the 50+ products are Minnesota-made and every item is less than $40.
