Aston Martin to Offer Custom-Built Garages

The auto brand’s architectural arm will bring to life Bond-like dreams

For the most unabashed auto enthusiasts, driving a car is only part of the obsession. In fact, the opportunity to marvel at their beauty—the intricacies of the design and the brilliance of its production—is just as important. As the process of owning premium vehicles has become more personalized, Aston Martin has capitalized with their boutique service, Q. Now, debuting at Monterey Car Week, a new extension of Q—dubbed Aston Martin Automotive Galleries and Lairs—will allow car owners (of any make) to custom-build their own storage facility. Through partnerships with premier architects and designers, owners will be able to dream up almost anything and build it seemingly anywhere.

“Imagine a home or luxury retreat built around your car,” Aston Martin Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman says. “Picture creating the ultimate space to showcase your own automotive works of art. This is now achievable with this new offering. For the car enthusiast, the garage is as important as the rest of the house and a bespoke auto gallery designed by Aston Martin that either focuses on showing off the car or is part of a larger, integrated entertainment space with simulators and such, takes Aston Martin ownership to the next level.”

As proofs of concept, Reichman’s team spearheaded the production of the 66-story Aston Martin Residences in Miami and Aston Martin’s first global brand center, the House of Aston Martin Aoyama, Tokyo. Whether the customer wishes to stage their car with villainous prowess or as a piece of fine art in a modern gallery, the Aston Martin team will do their best to accommodate the vision.

“Aston Martin has decades of expertise in staging cars in order to present them at their absolute best but also understands the importance of storage and maintenance of these living, breathing machines,” Aston Martin Partnerships Director Sebastien Delmaire says. “Automotive Galleries can even be designed to fit the era if a customer has a heritage car. These spaces provide an opportunity for people to create their own unique world where they can share their passion for cars with their guests. The opportunities are endless.”

Interested car owners can contact the company’s partnership department for information on how to begin the process.
