Design, crafts and exclusives at a new modern curiosity shop in Western Australia

Located in Western Australia, the newly-opened B&M Store carries a carefully edited selection of design wares alongside proprietors’ Bug & Megs‘ signature handmade 100% wool felt products.

Housed on recycled pine shelves, goods such as the CH fave carry-all Baggu, bento and lunch boxes from Japanese/Danish brand HanaBlomst, pixelated eBoy posters, Cardboard Safari animals and a bevy of curious magazines and stationery make up the inventory. While many of the products are unavailable elsewhere in Australia, B&M isn’t chiefly concerned about supplying the Southern Hemisphere with a slew of hard-to-find design items.

Instead, the B&M brick-and-mortar shop is a “shop-in-shop,” created as a place for customers to touch and see their range of wool felt (B&M is the only 100% wool felt supplier in Australia) and as a testing ground for new felt lifestyle products. Future plans include more color choices for the felt—currently they carry 22 colors—and an expanded range of designer craft supplies.
