Daniel Emma Magnifier

An elegant little bronze object for enlarging type and weighing down papers

While the monocle is of course the magnifier of choice for the Scrooge McDucks of the world, the simple bronze magnifier by Australian design studio Daniel Emma is certainly the one for the creative class. Designed to be used both for enlarging newsprint and as a paperweight, the elegant little object does well to embody the studio’s playful but stylish spirit. And, at just six centimeters in diameter, it’s a useful yet understated design object ideal for any office or study.

As a multidisciplinary industrial design studio, Daniel Emma (the brainchild of Daniel To and Emma Aiston) produces products as varied as their inspirations, from furniture and lighting to design objects of all shapes and sizes—with an emphasis on aesthetics across all projects, of course.

Visit Daniel Emma online for a look at their impressive portfolio of products. The American-made Magnifier will be available soon for $180.
