DeLorean Dreams
Over the last 14 years, Chicago native Rich Weissensel has been turning his DeLorean dreams into reality. The software engineer began modifying wrecked DeLoreans after becoming inspired by John Z. DeLorean himself. So far, the collection of cars includes a monster truck, limousine (equipped with six gull-wing doors), a hovercraft, convertible and a Back to the Future replica. Weissensel commits to only chopping up damaged vehicles though, as the pool of intact DeLoreans becomes increasingly slim.
