Joshua and Megan McKean of the eponymous McKean Studio are serious road warriors with a knack for finding hidden gems in every city they visit. With a blog full of impressive photos and stories documenting their travels, it’s undeniable that the creative couple has quite a bit of wanderlust. Lest you be jealous, the McKeans have created a way to put a little bit of their love into every home with their fabulously charming Mini Cities.

Going bi-coastal, the couple started their collection with a focus on NYC and Palm Springs. Using each city’s iconic settings—from skyscrapers and yellow cabs to mid-century houses and cacti—the miniatures are stripped down to minimal detail and size with the Empire State Building standing at around four inches tall. Each set comes with six to seven pieces, mixing and matching to build a bite-sized getaway.

Mini Cities ($70) are available at McKean Studio. Also be sure to watch out for their upcoming collaboration with wallpaper-based home decor brand Jimmy Cricket, who will soon be offering Palm Springs Mini City wall decals—a perfect way to add a little California sunshine to any room.
