Rapha + Liberty of London Patterned Cycling Gear

The sportswear favorite collaborates with the iconic British department store on women’s apparel and more

Today cycling experts Rapha unveiled their collection designed with iconic and historic British store, Liberty of London—the first part of a two-season collaboration. Famous for floral and graphic prints, Liberty might not seem like the most likely partner for Rapha, but the technically-minded gear works nicely with their softer patterning—as the brand chose a minimal print from the ’30s when trawling through Liberty’s archive of over 40,000 pieces.

The chosen print is a subtle blue-grey dot pattern, which seems to blur (even when stationary) to mimic speed—appropriate for gear that’s meant for fast rides through the city. With items including long- and short-sleeve jerseys, a bomber jacket, sweatshirt, leggings, scarf, cap and bags, the collection has almost all your biking needs covered.

The Rapha + Liberty of London collection is available as of today, 21 September, online. The two brands’ second collaboration will be out for spring 2016.
