Red Cap Cards, the Beverly Hills-based creator of smartly illustrated letterpress greeting cards, journals, and clothing, has just added Anke Weckmann and Lauren Duarte to their list of collaborators.
Established in 2004 by Hal Mertz and illustrator Carrie Gifford—who also goes by Apple Moshberry—Red Cap Cards have spent the past four years perfecting their collection of whimsical designs, many boasting adorable little stick figures with bulging eyes, amusing animals and free-flowing plants, creating civilized Hieronymus Bosch-like scenarios.
In case you're still looking for last minute gifts, the Red Cap journals incorporate the same style of designs as the greeting cards, but allow for year-long enjoyment. We especially like the witty yet elegant holiday greeting cards, as well as the organic baby onesies.
