Soma’s New Glass Water Bottles

Minimal and sustainable, these vessels are leak-proof and good for your conscience

Makers of some of our favorite sustainable products—including the 10-cup water filter pitcher—SF-based Soma is now making an equally beautiful glass water bottle (though it won’t filter the water for you). The design is so striking that you’ll remember to take it with you when you leave the house—and be happy to have it in your office or at the gym. The half transparent 17oz water bottle is made of lightweight and durable BPA-free borosilicate glass and features a protective BPA-free silicone grip—so it won’t slip away from you in tricky conditions. Additionally (and importantly for a portable bottle), it boasts a leak-proof cap made from bamboo—which also happens to be a renewable resource.

As with their other filters, Soma donates to charity: water with every bottle purchased to support better access to clean water around the world.

The bottle—debuting in four different colors (eggplant, grey, white or mint)—is priced at $30 from Soma and select stockists.
