PSFK has brought their “Future Of…” trend report series to an immersive space in NYC. In partnership with Stonehenge Real Estate and to highlight their new property, The 101 at 101 West 15th Street, the ground-floor retail space has been converted into an exhibition of the PSFK Future of Home Living report. The featured experience is an exhibition space showcasing tomorrow’s ideas and innovations in modern urban homes. As life at home becomes increasingly dynamic and interactive in urban landscapes, The Future Of Home Living report seeks trends that embrace this spirit of evolution. These themes are divided into three categories deemed most essential to the modern New Yorker: Adaptive, On Demand and Equilibrium.

The storefront is full of products—including Big Jambox and the UP Band, Soma Water Filter, and Bitponics Gardening System—all worthy of a spot in modern New York homes. Each product fits in one of the three categories: Adaptive for its ability to match the changing needs of the city dweller, On Demand for increased connectivity with the city, or Equilibrium for ensuring health and wellness in everyday life. Every object also has a label and code used to access all necessary product information from their mobile site. The team even decorated a show apartment for potential renters to explore.

With the recent UN reports claiming that a population of 10 billion will inhabit the earth by 2050, and that 75% of those people will live in cities, PSFK is moving in the right direction thinking on a small scale. See for yourself when the showroom opens 23 July, but be sure to register online and check out the products on the mobile site on opening day.
