Dewar’s Limited Edition 15 Year Old

Honey and toffee unite for a special blended whisky aged release

On our recent Scotland trip to visit the distilleries producing the single malt master notes of Dewar’s Blended Scotch Whisky, we were tipped off to their new limited release Dewar‘s 15 Year Old. Today, the spirit becomes available stateside, and stands as one of only a few blended whiskies to carry the 15-year age stamp. The blend was created by their master blender Stephanie Macleod from select single malts and single grains, across both sherry and bourbon barrel aging. The blend is then married in select oak casks for an additional aging. The result is the smoothest in their repertoire, with Dewar’s signature honey notes giving way to toffee that lingers all the way into fruits and florals. It really is best served neat—delivering warmth and light spice. This is a special product from the heritage brand and, at 80 proof, it’s something whisky and non-whisky drinkers alike can enjoy.

Dewar’s 15 retails for $50 and is available in limited quantities throughout the US at select retailers, as well as online.
