Jinn and Company’s Hemp Oil Edibles
Full-spectrum CBD and organic ingredients meet for delectable treats
As CBD continues being added to lattes and cocktails, it may best be suited for tiny, rewarding treats. Jinn and Company‘s hemp oil fruit gummies and nut bites are just that. They’re bite-sized, CBD-infused (200mg total, 25mg per piece, derived from the full spectrum hemp oil) snacks for stressful moments.
Crafted by a small team of designers and artists (who also share an affection for plant-based foods and medicines), Jinn and Co offer two different categories: fruit jellies (Peach & Strawberry and Mango-Guava & Lychee) and fruit and nut bites (Magic Island and Open Sesame) that are made from all-natural ingredients.
The jellies have a jam-like quality to them, but avoid that sticky and gummy texture of many candies—instead they have a soft, natural-feeling consistency. Their flavors are also real. For the Peach & Strawberry jellies, the flavor comes from peach and strawberry purees and organic cane sugar.
While nut and fruit bars can often be dry or chalky, these are neither. While part of that can be attributed to their slight size, it’s also because of their date paste base.
Each month, Jinn & Co donates to Brooklyn Community Bail Fund, an organization that pays bail for New Yorkers who cannot afford to otherwise in an effort to combat the systemic and disproportionate jailing of individuals based on race and class.
