Microbiome Company Seed Launches Combined Probiotic + Prebiotic

Known as the Daily Synbiotic, two gender-specific digestive aids

As microbiome wellness organization Seed has been quick to point out: there are some 38,000,000,000 microorganisms living inside and on top of each of us. In recent years, much attention has been paid to caring for these organisms—which are predominantly bacterial—because they directly impact our own health. With an industry-leading scientific advisory board (including Chief Scientist Dr Gregor Reid, who chaired the United Nations / World Health Organization panel that first authored the globally accepted term “probiotics”), Seed has developed two variations of a supplement—one for men, another for women—that aims to stimulate and sustain microbiome health. Through human clinical research, advanced proprietary technology and plain old testing, they’ve now released the product, known as the Daily Synbiotic.

Daily Synbiotic is a probiotic and prebiotic. Regarding the former, it employs a strain that actually naturally resides in the human body (unlike some competitors) and it’s not found in the typical foods associated with probiotics. The strains have been tested over and over and their impact on the gut has been well-documented. The prebiotic components have been sourced from Indian pomegranate skin and Scandinavian chaga mushrooms and pine bark. These ferment in the large colon to benefit bacteria colonies there. United, they make the Daily Synbiotic a force to be reckoned with.

Both Daily Synbiotic formulations are priced at $50 per month—which translates to a supply of 90 capsules (adults take three capsules, once a day).
