New York Craft Act
With the recently signed Craft New York Act finally going into effect, small-batch distilleries are now able to serve full-fledged cocktails instead of the shot-like samplers they were once limited to. The new ease of liquor regulations aims to make these boutique distilleries more attractive to tourists and locals in New York, and hopefully elsewhere soon enough. Craft distilleries are already making plans to open “cocktail cafes,” on-site restaurants and space-rental services for parties and events.
