In a video that brilliantly combines a first-person shooter perspective with a Quentin Tarantino-like narrative, Russian indie punk band Biting Elbows delivers “Bad Motherfucker“—a single that lives up to its name. While we admittedly missed its viral debut, London-based graphic designer Sean Gall tipped us off to the cinematic video this week via the social music aggregating site, This Is My Jam. Full of car chases, bloody shootouts and teleportation powers, it’s all captured by director and frontman Ilya Naishuller on a simple Sony GoPro camera.
