A New Classy Men’s Sneaker from Axel Arigato

A first look at the productive brand’s release of the week, a suede low top with leather cap toe

Operating out of Sweden, Axel Arigato launched in July 2014 with a unique idea: introduce a new men’s shoe design each week, rather than follow traditional seasons with a set collection. Their direct-to-consumer approach makes premium materials like Italian rubber cup-soles from Margom and calfskin lining (with production in Portugal) a little more attainable. The weekly drop fuels the appetites of online-savvy consumers accustomed to instantaneous results and pummeled in all directions with new and rapidly changing trends. A way to change up your shoe routine when its starting to feel stale, Axel Arigato has something for every occasion or mood, whether it’s beautiful marble soles to needlepoint slippers or black alligator-embossed Chukkas.

The sneaker category, of course, is where Axel Arigato shines, and CH has the first look at this week’s drop: a version of their cap-toe sneaker in grey suede, with a leather cap toe. It’s minimalist and luxe, but at the same time a little adventurous. It’s now available for purchase for $205, with free shipping outside the EU.
