Rubberized Leather Jackets by The Arrivals

The New York-based outerwear brand’s modern take on a timeless classic

New York-based outerwear brand The Arrivals is heating things up this winter with the release of their second capsule collection. A continuation of
their debut, which launched in October, the four-piece capsule features the brand’s take on a timeless fashion essential: the leather jacket. With a version for men and women—a bomber and motorcycle jacket respectively—the capsule gives the staple a functionalist overhaul by adding a removable quilted liner and a rubberized lambskin finish.

Completely matte, the special leather not only adds a futuristic touch to the classic silhouettes but also a critical layer of water resistance. With a focus on quality and fair prices rather than trends, the coats exemplify the streamlined aesthetic of the brand’s creative director and co-founder Jeff Johnson. A former architect, Johnson approaches his designs with the eye of an engineer—and if these first pieces are any indication, he already has a great foundation.

Available exclusively online, the Wren and Bond jackets sell for $685 each.
