SIG (So It Goes) the Label

A new Australian womenswear brand plays with not-so-basic, flowing monochrome pieces

Launched last month, new Australian brand SIG The Label (SIG short for “So It Goes”) reminds us that there’s incredible sophistication in monochrome—and that relaxed and high fashion aren’t mutually exclusive words. Adelaide designer Kate Anderson takes a limited color palette (the boldest two choices being the bright tangerine and tartan) and puts emphasis on unusual silhouettes—like the statement flares on the Alvarez pant and matching Alvarez long-sleeve top, which are meant to look even better as your limbs move and the fabric flows. The dressier pieces also echo this sense of motion, like the loose rayon dress vest and culotte jumpsuit with exposed back.

Peruse the collection—some pieces have already sold out—online from SIG The Label’s webshop.
