The Sneaker Colouring Book
A brief history of classic kicks where you choose the colorway
Taking shoe customization back to its primitive form, the no-frills”Sneaker Colouring Book” collects 100 shoe silhouettes from 18 of the top labels known for their distinct designs.
Berlin-based studio PKNTS‘ Daniel Jarosch and Henrik Klingel created the book, cleverly demonstrating the evolution of the sneaker by featuring the kicks in chronological order of production, from the 1916 Keds Champion to the 2002 Le Coq Sportif Escrime. Each line drawing includes the model name and sneaker category, and while most fall under the main three types of trainers—running, basketball and tennis—the less common categories such as bowling, skateboarding, fitness and volleyball all make a proper appearance too.
