Oregon-based outerwear company Trew Gear’s new Backcountry Button Up is the latest addition to their line of water-resistant snow apparel that travels from the city to the mountain with ease. The shirt is styled as a classic heritage work shirt, but the chest and shoulders are protected with a nylon taslan shell with a water-repellent coating. Polyester-and-wool hybrid chambray fabric wicks away moisture while insulating the core. The shirt is part of Trew’s multipurpose lifestyle line. It functions as a mid-layer while skiing, transitions to an outer layer while raking fall leaves in the cold, rainy Pacific Northwest and is not out of place in line at the local bar.

The Backcountry Button Up retails for $110 and can be found online or seen in person at one of the stops during the winter Trew Tour. Follow them on Instagram for daily updates.
