Vans + London Undercover Collaboration Collection

All-weather sneakers and umbrellas for the looming seasons

Iconic skate brand Vans has teamed up with quintessentially British, luxury label London Undercover to fight the weather. As part of the Vault by Vans line, the range is made up of Sk8-Hi’s sneakers and umbrellas—almost everything needed to protect people of all genders as they prepare for the impending cold, wet and snowy seasons. There are four sneaker colorways available (all made with premium water-resistant suede, complete with warm linings and a heat-retaining layer inside to keep feet warm and dry) and each has a matching umbrella. The patterns, while two intended for men and two for women, are all ultimately for all genders—with two camouflage versions and two warped checkerboard patterns, in pink or gray.

London Undercover has previously collaborated with BAPE and maharishi and continues to make the humble, functional umbrella something to covet. Further, London Undercover’s brollies are made from recycled materials and their process also produces minimal waste. They continue to research materials and manufacturing operations that are eco-friendly.

The umbrellas are golf-sized, so might not be ideal for busy cities, but there’s no denying the extra sophistication (and extra motivation to get you out the door) that comes with matching your winter accessories. The collection will be available 22 October at Vans locations and London Undercover’s store: 20 Hanbury St, London E1.
