CH Omakase 2016: Goby Electric Toothbrush

A well-designed, oral health-focused device in our exclusive colorway

With a focus on users’ health and a want to offer a well-designed, inexpensive electric toothbrush option, NYC-tech start-up Goby developed a portable, USB-charged device that we ourselves have been using since its launch. This is a high-performance oral care toothbrush that’s simple enough to use, and gentle enough for every day use. Operating on two settings—regular and sensitive—partnered with soft, premium rounded tip bristles, there’s substantial benefit to gums as well as teeth. Further, the device—which needs charging only once or twice a month—vibrates when it’s time to switch areas. Of course we loved the pared down design aesthetic, as well as the functional benefits, and found it all to be an ideal fit for CH Omakase 2016—in a CH exclusive color. Beyond that, however, Goby partners with NYU College of Dentistry’s Global Student Outreach Program and donates a percentage of profits in order to offer dental care and education to people all over the world who don’t have easy access to either. Altogether, it’s a brand seeking to impact as many as possible with positive dental benefits.

This CH-spec’d purple Goby toothbrush colorway was made available only to CH Omakase clients, but the brand has four others for sale online now, retailing for $65 (or $50 with a monthly subscription to replacement brush heads). A purchase includes the toothbrush, one head, the hygenic stand, a charging shell and USB converter. To make sure you’re given early access to exclusive products next year, reserve your CH Omakase gift box online now.
