Finger Whisper

2320_large.jpg

The FingerWhisper currently being developed at the NTT DoCoMo
Yokosuka R&D center. Worn on the wrist, this watch-like terminal converts voice to vibration through an actuator and channels this vibration through the bones to the tip of the index finger. By inserting this finger into the ear canal, the vibration can be heard as voice. The great thing is that the body language of using this phone / headset is just like talking on a traditional handset. This means you wont look like a nutter walking down the street talking to yourself when you’re really talking into a little handsfree ear piece.
