Sennheiser Momentum Headphones

Supple leather and stainless steel pairs with superior sound

Sennheiser-Momentum-headphones.jpg

Originally released in the fall of 2012, the Momentum headphone from German audio masters Sennheiser was recently updated with black leather and finished with red stitching. Much like the elegant P5 from Bowers & Wilkins—a staple at CH HQ—the Momentum headphone is made of mostly natural materials, meaning more leather and stainless steel than plastic.

The supple leather ear pads fit comfortably over the ear, putting little to no pressure on your ears themselves—even while wearing glasses. As far as sound, they deliver. From Devendra Banhart to Boldy James, a certain depth can be heard, giving each song a distinct character that will likely bring out new notes in old favorites. Find the Momentum directly from Sennheiser for $350.
