The EHang Autonomous Passenger Drone Has Begun Testing

A self-piloting passenger drone called the EHang 184 drone, which was initially unveiled at CES, has announced plans to begin testing in the state of Nevada. The pod-like aerial vehicle has the potential to autonomously transport a single person up to 10 miles away—all the passenger needs to do is set a destination point through an app and sit back. EHang is currently working the Federal Aviation Administration to gain flight clearance, and they expect to launch an initial flight by the end of 2016. Learn more at The Drive.
