City Guide: Paris

Must-sees and hidden treasures in one of the world’s most charming cities

There’s no doubt Paris—lovingly known as La Ville-Lumière—is one of the most romantic, charming cities in the world. When visiting, there are globally recognized must-see spots for checking off the list; ascending the Eiffel Tower, touring the Louvre and wandering the banks of the Seine. Equally impressive, however, are the countless hidden gems scattered across the varied arrondissements. From the city’s long and fascinating history to magnificent art, delectable food, stunning (and cheap) wine, a stroll down a seemingly ordinary cobblestone alley or hopping off a stop too early on the Metro means visitors might be greeted with something quite magical. There’s no wonder Parisians stereotypically have a bit of an attitude—they’re just acutely aware of what a glorious wonderland they inhabit.

While it’s a city of endless treasures, we’ve put together a collection of our favorites spots on the Left Bank and the Right in our Paris City Guide, which will continually be updated as time goes by. Already though, if you find yourself in the city and in need of a jumping off point, we have you covered. From places to stay, to venues for a memorable cocktail, a quick bite or a leisurely dinner and what to view in between public garden hopping, enjoy our Paris guide virtually or in real life when you visit the magical capital.
