America Messenger

Portable reminder to get out the vote

With only 61.8% of eligible voters showing up to polls for the 2008 US presidential election, everyone from Con Edison to the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) are attempting to persuade reluctant citizens to cast their votes next Tuesday, 6 November 2012. San Francisco-based company Timbuk2 recently joined the design community’s effort to inspire turnout with a messenger bag that has been cut and sewn with the stars and stripes.

The limited edition of 30 hand-numbered America Messenger bags sold out shortly following their announcement, though Timbuk2 is able to fill orders for nationalistic portage through their custom system with the “Super Star” fabric. The bag follows Timbuk2’s classic messenger design with waterproof TPU lining, internal slash pocket and a padded cross-body strap.

Design one at Timbuk2 Custom—and don’t forget to vote.
