Winter Session’s Two-Tone Day Pack
The minimal, modern backpack gets an update with three earth tone colorways
In late 2013 we were introduced to Denver’s Winter Session, makers of rugged waxed canvas bags and assorted leather goods. The clean aesthetic is immediately attractive to a range of tastes, and is most appealing about the young brand. Sleek lines, honest materials and modest colorways make each piece work well with those holding onto the workwear movement, as well as those more partial to modern stylings. A great example is the Day Pack, which is now available in three handsome two-tone editions.
Each pack aligns a comfortable earth tone with a naturally white canvas upper. The contrast is crisp, but softened by natural leather shoulder straps. A large outer pocket with leather clasp makes for easy storage, while the main compartment features a padded laptop sleeve and smaller pouch for accessories. Each Day Pack is made one at a time, by hand in Colorado, and is available for $285.
