Iggy Pop: Asshole Blues

The first song in a series of flexi-disc releases on Miami-based band Jacuzzi Boys’ Mag Mag label is a very impressive one. By none other than Iggy Pop, “Asshole Blues” is a scratchy acoustic tune whose muffled recording somehow only adds to its charm. About somebody who’s on Iggy’s case, the song is super-simple, but entirely beguiling.
