In complete contrast to the cheap, mass-produced plastic speakers that clutter the aisles at convenience stores are the unique crafted pieces by Salvage Audio. Each of their Bluetooth speakers are handmade in California from reclaimed wood that has a story: whether it used to be a family’s redwood fence or secondhand pine shipping boxes. Swimwear brand Onia is gradually dipping its toes into everyday apparel—and their Shaw Technical Jacket checks all the boxes. Made from the same high-performing fabric as their swim shorts, the cotton-nylon jacket is lined with sturdy but soft mesh, has an abundance of pockets, and is super packable.
From the independent Melbourne-based designer’s SOAK collection is this sweet “ear jacket,” a delicate attachment that can be added to any stud-style earring. Essentially acting as a back for a stud, this three-pronged treat is adorned with starbursts.
