Updated daily, the Buy section is a deep directory of stuff we love. From this collection we organize Gift Guides for the holiday season and special occasions all year long.

Imagined by author Anne Laval and released by the Laurence King publishing house, each Story Box includes colorful fairytale characters, scenes and scenarios. The collaborative game taps into imagination and emphasizes the importance of storytelling.
THC Design grows more than 70 strains of cannabis in California, creates multiple products and has an affinity for tasteful design. Their new book—THC Design: Cultivation—promotes the brand’s accomplishments and serves as the best looking and one of the most informed resources for anyone interested in growing cannabis we’ve seen. It’s useful and artfully photographed.
All through December, Cartography (a jewelry brand helmed by Mark Armstrong Peddigrew) will be donating 25% of proceeds from sales to Rainbow Railroad, an organization that helps LGBTQ individuals who are facing discrimination and violence in their home countries. With various pieces available for all genders, Cartography’s “grace” necklace is particularly appealing. Featuring a bulbous half-inch brass mushroom pendant on 24-inch silver chain, it’s a sweet ode to nature—and psilocybin.
Manufactured by Queensland, Australia-based company Little Building Co (LBC), this 1:500 scale model of the Solomon R Guggenheim Museum will tantalize architecture and art fans alike—though one should be careful with the kit’s small pieces around children. Inside, there are all of the necessary elements to build the model, but LBC asks that you furnish your own high-quality PVA wood glue, which can be found at any hardware or craft store. A feat of building technology at the time of its construction, Frank Lloyd Wright’s vision for the museum features several clashing structures, yet they remained cohesive under his creative direction. With this set, and a bit of spare time, you can recreate a classic. Price is in AUD.
Known for their handmade tea canisters, Japanese brand Kaikado is now run by third-generation artisan, Takahiro Yagi. Their simple design creates a vacuum seal when they gently slide closed. We commissioned the brand to create 30 items with this very unique finish—using our original CH Omakase pattern. This marks the first time Kaikado was able to match a hand-engraved pattern and then cover it in lacquer. The more you touch this object the more patina the lacquer will acquire. And of course it can be used for more than tea—coffee, pot, candy and more will be quite happy inside.
When stacked upside-down, these bright green Saguaro glasses resemble a cactus. The set (from DOIY Design) comprises six different shapes—two cups with handles, three without and one with a rounded bottom—all of which have an eight-ounce capacity. Not only do they create the silhouette of a Saguaro when stacked, they also serve different purposes individually. Dishwasher- and freezer-safe, they’re a playful addition to any at-home meal.
Using old-world techniques, Good Intentions Wine Company crafts their wines with minimal intervention. All fruits are hand-picked at their three vineyards, located at the base of one of Australia’s youngest volcanoes, Mount Gambier (also known as Ereng Balam) on South Australia’s Limestone Coast. The cool climate, rainfall and limestone of the region all contribute to making fantastic wines, which Good Intentions ferments with indigenous yeasts. Their Relatively White (2018) is made from sauvignon blanc grapes that are macerated on skins. With notes of flowers, citrus, peach and ginger, this unfiltered wine pops with the right amount of acidity.
Available in rose quartz, howlite, obsidian or (our favorite) tourmaline quartz, Leaff’s crystal pipes offer more than a smoking vessel as each semi-precious stone boasts its own mystical properties. Tourmaline quartz, for instance, helps to balance Yin and Yang, while offering protection. Weighty in the hand, each pipe features a brass filter and comes with two extras for when it’s cleaning time. Be sure to follow advice for cleansing crystals too.
From sexual wellness brand maude, this Hydrating Coconut Milk Bath infuses tub water with minerals (like magnesium, potassium and zinc) to aid in relaxation. Made with Dead Sea salt, baking soda and dehydrated coconut milk, the blend also promotes circulation and detoxification. After soaking for 20 minutes, your mind and body should feel both fresh and nourished.
Ergatta worked with Rhode Island-based Water Rower to make a custom machine that’s perfectly suited to design-minded fitness enthusiasts. The wooden frame has a rich finish that’s pleasantly complemented by black components, so when not in use it’s easy on the eyes. The rowing action is smooth and friction-free with resistance coming from a paddle that spins in the water tank, making a pleasant whooshing noise. Most important is the screen experience Ergatta created to facilitate instruction, training and competition. The modern and minimal infographics are both useful and motivating which ultimately results in a better workout.
These super-cozy, fluffy slippers (the result of UK-based Piglet’s collaboration with WoolOvers) have been crafted from 100% sheepskin, making them perfect for cold days pottering around the house. While our pick is this rich plum color, they also come in dark gray, navy, cream and pale pink.
The sibling to the Kaya 3-Piece Bowl Planter, this two-piece iteration—designed by Justina Blakeney for her LA-based company Jungalow—proves itself to be just as charming. Available in four colors and measuring seven inches tall, this ceramic piece provides space for drainage and can be mixed and matched with other versions. These planters offer a beautiful and sophisticated home for your plants.
Designed by Sheila Bridges (who has helmed an eponymous interior design studio since 1994), this gorgeous Harlem Toile wallpaper features images not seen on classic Toile de Jouy. Rather than European pastoral scenes, this version satirizes and celebrates stereotypes that Bridges says are “deeply woven into the African American experience.” Characters joyfully dance next to a boombox, shoot hoops, play Double Dutch, picnic and more—blending contemporary concepts with the centuries-old style. The wallpaper is 27 inches wide by five yards long, with a 30-inch repeat on the pattern. It’s available in 12 different colorways, but Bridges also offers custom versions at an extra cost.
Most vaporizing devices are either for flower or extract. The Pax 3, however, can handle both. While the form of Pax’s vaporizer has remained the same with each iteration, the technology is constantly upgraded. In addition to its dual-use functionality this third version has better temperature management, longer battery life and elegant color choices.
COOL HUNTING commissioned Kazushi Iwasa, Kiun’s fifth-generation incense-maker in Takamatsu, Japan, to craft a unique incense for our annual limited edition gift series, Omakase, using natural indigo. The earthy, woody, musky scent is light and refreshing—and the incense does not drop ash as it burns, rather, it curls inward together. Of note, the Taro Tabuchi incense plate shown is not included with this two box purchase, but is available as a set with four boxes.
