The first issue of the brand new Brooklyn-based street art magazine Arrow premiered last month, featuring profiles of the likes of artist Rich Jacobs (he's responsible for the cover art), photographer Angela Boatwright, the Canadian band, DFA 1979, and the Beautiful Losers show in Baltimore. Lynne Golob Gelfman: react

Opening this Thursday, 5 January, in Miami's Frederic Snitzer Gallery, Lynne Golob Gelfman's latest solo show builds on her repertoire of densely layered, process-oriented work. A reception for the artist takes place Saturday, 14 January at the gallery (the Miami-based artist has been showing at Snitzer for 15 years) and the exhibition runs through 30 January.
