2. Levi’s Chambray by Opening Ceremony
For their third collaboration with the veritable denim brand, Opening Ceremony played around with the enduring appeal of chambray for a perfectly-hued collection of straight-leg jeans, cropped jackets, babydoll dresses and other trademark “twists on a classic.”

Photographer Wyatt Gallery’s “Tent Life” gives a unique look into the culture and lifestyle of tent cities formed in the aftermath of the Haitian earthquake. A book comes out in April and an exhibit is showing through 31 March 2011 at Umbrage in Brooklyn, NY.

What at first glance looks like a folding bike, the Mini Velo 20″ Road bike by Swiss brand Bruno is actually a hybrid style 16-speed road bike kitted with a Shimano shifter. A great ride for cities, the compact model is not surprisingly popular in Japan.

11. NETRA: Interactive Display for Estimating Refractive Errors and Focal Range
MIT Media Lab’s Camera Culture department has another awesome innovation on the books. NETRA is an interactive display that can be attached to a cell phone and be used to determine if an eye has refractive errors.
12. Maybach Exelero
A one-of-a-kind supercar, the Maybach Exelero is a throwback to the sportscars of the 1930s. It has a top speed of 218mph and only costs about $8 million dollars.
