Denver: Art Museum Addition

The Denver Art Museum is getting quite the grand and futuristic expansion–They're calling it the Frederic C. Hamilton building. It's going to be an impressive geometric shaped explosion made of glass and over 230,000 square feet of titanium all designed by Daniel Libeskind. Anthony Caro Exhibition

Chicago: Universal Experience

Starting Feb. 12, Chicago's Museum of Contemporary Art hosts Universal Experience: Art, Life, and the Tourist’s Eye. The four month, building-wide exhibit will showcase large scale installations as well as smaller pieces, like videos and photographs, featuring artists’ experiences while traveling and residing among foreign cultures. Universal Experience will include pieces by Andy Warhol, Max Becher, Doug Aitken, Ilya and Emilia Kabako and many more.
