Panda Bear: Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper

In an interview with Clash, Noah Lennox—aka Panda Bear—opens up about his almost non-process process for creating his fifth studio album, Panda Bear Meets The Grim Reaper. Citing ’90s hip-hop and R&B as influences, and sampling material from Debussy and even Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker suite (heard in “Tropic of Cancer”), the veteran solo artist alludes to this album being all about rhythmic swings.
