Nanamica Cycling Pack

A sleek black bag that’s as stylish as it is functional

When it comes to backpacks, often basic is best. And, in the case of the Nanamica Cycling Pack, neither bells nor whistles were needed to enhance the bag’s intelligently refined form. While the pack greatly resembles an earlier iteration introduced FW ’13, the recently released SS ’14 edition has been cleaned up and blacked out. A single leather strap secures the main compartment’s roll top, while a padded back panel and ergonomic shoulder straps keep it comfortably on the body. Horizontal leather adjustment straps help keep the long silhouette in check, while an additional vertical zippered compartment adorns the exterior in subtle fashion, offering a bit of extra stash space.

The heavy duty Cycling Pack is made of sturdy Cordura twill, with solid brass buckles and fasteners and, as always with Nanamica, the bag is made in entirely in Japan. Quickly selling out, the Cycling Pack is currently available from online retailers End and Norse Store for around $425.
