Lianne La Havas: Unstoppable

Ahead of her forthcoming album release—Blood out this Friday—soulful crooner Lianne La Havas stripped down her new track “Unstoppable” for The Daily Beast. The result teeters between haunting and epic—all the while showcasing the magnificence of her voice, lyricism and guitar playing. It’s pretty—and a pretty unstoppable demonstration of her artistry.

Jamie Lidell: Pink Light

The ever-charming Jamie Lidell has just unveiled “Pink Light“—a soulful and synth-heavy stand-alone track. While Lidell hasn’t announced a follow-up record to his self-titled LP from 2013, we can only hope this appears on an album full of equally lush and dreamy songs from the talented British artist.

Jaala: Hard Hold

If you’re craving more of the future soul goodness that is Hiatus Kaiyote, then Jaala—another jamming foursome from Melbourne, three of whom are women—will appease some of the appetite. Their single “Hard Hold” (from their upcoming debut LP of the same name), produced by Hiatus Kaiyote bassist Paul Bender, highlights their musicality while preserving an intimate vibe of grungy, bedroom punk.
