Handmade carpets that defy function will go under the hammer next week

Work from some of the world’s finest artists can be found—on carpets—in an auction running 3-17 December to benefit the Elton John Aids Foundation. Swedish luxury textile house Henzel Studio is partnering with online auction house Paddle8 for the two-week event. The 20 artists who created products were encouraged to think beyond practicality.
