Estudio Niksen x Saucony Trainer 80

The first collab between Saucony and Canada’s Estudio Niksen brings their easy-to-wear approach to clothing and revisits Saucony’s iconic Trainer 80. The Estudio Niksen x Saucony Trainer 80 has a softer workwear vibe, featuring textured ripstop, zig-zag stitching, a faded checkered fabric and brushed suede. It comes with three sets of laces (yellow, white and brown). Hand drawn illustrations are on the box and the insole.

Artefacto Marble LS 02

CDMX-based Lørdag & Søndag crafts beautiful decorative objects and functional pieces in a range of materials, including these hand-carved marble sculptures. Transparent’s Aroma Diffuser is the brand’s first non-audio product but shares the same focus on details and engineering we’ve come to expect, along with some seriously sexy design swagger. Sender IN Hooded Jacket

The Sender IN Jacket, available in men’s and women’s sizing, uses a proprietary material called LOOPINSULATION to create a warm jacket out of materials otherwise destined for landfill. When combining polyester rope production waste with recycled plastic, the Mammut team discovered that the resulting insulation clusters had an ideal loft and warmth level, even in wet conditions. Compared to traditional poly-fill production, LOOPINSULATION creates 48% less manufacturing emissions—another plus. With a regular fit that’s comfortable for everyday wear, the added touch of stretch in its recycled shell won’t restrict during more active endeavors like hiking and skiing. Down typically loses its insulation factor when it gets wet, so if unreliable weather is in the cards, the Sender IN’s PFC-free water-resistant layer repels rain and snow without the use of nasty non-biodegradable compounds. Available in a mix of bright and neutral colorways, this might just be the sustainable cold-weather staple we’ve been looking for.

Ahead of Time

This witty title plays both on the brand’s watchmaking and on the conversations its founder, Benoît Mintiens, an industrial designer, has with his friends—many of them customers of Ressence—as they share their thoughts on the future. It’s a book celebrating the brand’s anniversary, but looking forward instead of back. Mintiens speaks with Sam Altman (founder of OpenAI), Marcus Engman (Chief Creative Officer at IKEA), Lonneke Gordjin (Co-Founder of Studio Drift), Ivy Ross (Chief Design Officer at Google), architect Daniel Libeskind and fifteen other visionaries.
