A simple door jam handmade in London from Portuguese cork
Just in at the Jasper Morrison shop is a simple household item made immediately covetable. Designed by Portuguese-born, London-based designer Hugo Passos, the handmade cork wedge—molded from Portuguese cork supplied by Amorim—is a straightforward way to keep a door open and unobtrusively handsome hanging out on its own when the door’s shut.
The cork wedge is now available from the Jasper Morrison shop for £12, where we suggest you also pick up Morrison’s own hilarious and perceptive photo book, “The Good Life,” (£18) which features pictures he snapped throughout his travels along with personal musings on each.
