Digital Tour of Haruki Murakami’s Office

Award-winning writer Haruki Murakami is giving his millions of fans a glimpse into the space where his stories come alive. Up now online, Murakami has created a small, digital tour of his desk—pointing out some of his more mundane objects (like a simple mug from a trip to Switzerland) and his tiny treasures, including a paperweight that was gifted to him from Sonny Mehta and a collection of travel memorabilia. His workspace also includes a massive collection of jazz vinyls, which he admits listening to while writing. Take the full tour on his personal website.
