Three Days of Sun: Veuve Clicquot’s Club Solaire Comes to Venice Beach
From 2 to 4 October, the champagne house takes over 619 Ocean Front Walk with chef-led dinners, a beading studio, Folderol soft-serve and a champagne bar that funds women in hospitality

From 2 to 4 October, Veuve Clicquot moves into 619 Ocean Front Walk in Venice Beach, where Club Solaire opens for three days of food, music and creativity on the boardwalk. Six ticketed experiences, presented with the nonprofit Regarding Her, while the boardwalk side welcomes anyone 21 and over to dine, sip and discover.
The house has built its identity over 250 years on people who gather to share joy, and the Venice Beach weekend is that history in practice. The chefs and makers who host are drawn from the neighborhood’s own creative scene.
A Community Called the Joy Collective
The people behind the weekend belong to the Joy Collective, the community Veuve Clicquot has built around the house. Members meet each other at events like this and get early word on what’s coming next to the house.
“Bringing people together in a spirit of joy has always been at the heart of the Veuve Clicquot story. Venice Beach, with its creative energy, vibrant culture and spirit of discovery, is a place where those connections happen organically every day,” says Veuve Clicquot President Thomas Mulliez. “Through Club Solaire and the Joy Collective, we are celebrating what makes this community so special and inviting people to experience the neighborhood through the optimistic lens of Veuve Clicquot. Our partnership with Regarding Her brings another important element to that celebration, reflecting the pioneering spirit of Madame Clicquot while supporting the women entrepreneurs and leaders shaping the hospitality industry today.”
That last line explains why a boardwalk champagne bar sits at the center of the weekend, with its proceeds going to the nonprofit.

Inside Club Solaire
Six ticketed experiences anchor the weekend, each created with the culinary studio We Are Ona and hosted by a member of the Joy Collective. The hosts are Jessica Yang, founder of the Paris wine and ice cream bar Folderol; Jordan Kahn, the Michelin-starred Los Angeles chef; chef and music curator Heather Tierney; jewelry designer Ashley Moubayed, founder of Don’t Let Disco; photographer Sela Shiloni; and the James Beard Award-nominated chef Fátima Juárez.
Friday 2 October opens with The Morning Mix from 10 AM to 12 PM, a breakfast with a playlist built by Tierney, who invites guests to share the songs that move them. The Shared Table follows from 1:30 to 4:30 PM, with Kahn and Yang cooking at an open kitchen before joining guests for a seated lunch. The Sunset Dinner closes the day from 6 to 9 PM with a view of the Pacific, a four-course menu by Kahn, cuvées introduced by a Veuve Clicquot winemaker and dessert by Yang.

On Saturday 3 October, The Maker’s Brunch runs from 12 to 3 PM, with Moubayed, a CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist, leading a beading session before brunch, so guests leave with a piece they made by hand. The House Party takes over the building from 5 to 9 PM, an evening of music timed to the sunset, with a different program in every room.
The Sun-Day Reset ends the weekend on Sunday 4 October, from 10 AM to 12 PM, with breakfast bites and morning champagne served at tables overlooking the ocean.

On the Boardwalk
Beyond the ticketed events, Club Solaire opens three stops along Ocean Front Walk to anyone 21 and over.
The Regarding Her Champagne Bar pours Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label by the glass, with every sale going to the nonprofit. Tierney, a Regarding Her member, supplies handmade nori salt potato chips as the pairing, while Yang brings Folderol to the United States for the first time with an ice cream parlor serving soft-serve flavors developed from the tasting notes of Yellow Label. A few steps away, a Veuve Clicquot concept store carries a selection of pieces for purchase, while the Yellow Rental Shop lends out the house’s yellow bikes for a ride along the boardwalk.

The Bar That Funds the Cause
Regarding Her is a national nonprofit that works to advance women entrepreneurs and leaders in food and beverage, and 100% of champagne sales at its boardwalk bar go to that work.

“We are honored to be part of Club Solaire here in Venice Beach,” says Regarding Her Founding Member Mary Sue Milliken. “Hospitality is about bringing people together, creating joy and community through food, music, and of course, champagne. Veuve Clicquot has long championed the women who shape our industry, and coming together with the shared purpose of supporting women leaders in food and beverage makes this partnership especially meaningful.”
The support extends past the weekend. Veuve Clicquot has also committed to the Los Angeles Parks Foundation and its restoration work at the Venice Beach Pier, the stretch of coast that hosts Club Solaire.
Club Solaire runs Friday 2 through Sunday 4 October at 619 Ocean Front Walk, Venice Beach. Tickets for the six experiences, presented with Regarding Her and We Are Ona, are on sale now for guests 21 and over. Join the Joy Collective at VeuveClicquot.com for details and access.
