The Rib & Hull Heirloom Tote strikes a perfect balance of richly handsome leather with a timeless and functional silhouette, but just when we thought that was the only bag we’d ever want or need, its Warsaw-based designers, Alexandra Wrega and Rafal Szamborski, introduced a beautiful new competitor.
The slightly larger Heirloom Carryall features a zipper enclosure which the designers added based on fan feedback. Like the Tote the hand-stitched Carryall comes in cognac and oxblood leather finished by artisans in Tuscany. Stamped with a tiny Rib & Hull label between the handles, the exterior leather will darken to develop an appealing patina over time. The roomy suede interior features a pocket for a laptop.
Carefully and lovingly constructed, Rib & Hull bags—as well as the company’s smaller leather device cases, wallets and accessories and canvas bags and sleeves—are designed to last and look good for the long haul. Shop the full line on their website, where the Heirloom Carryall sells for $400.
