Mastercard’s Pay with a Selfie Service Rolls Out

With their new Identity Check mobile app, credit card company Mastercard now offers an authentication option outside of pin numbers and thumbprint activation. As an alternative to the aforementioned options, a selfie (aka facial recognition technology) will complete online and app-based purchases. A new photo book of questioning faces curated by Mossless, made in collaboration with the International Center of Photography

Mossless was founded in 2009 by Romke Hoogwaerts as a digital platform for interviewing a different photographer every two days.
