The 8-Bit Apple II Watch

Pre-orders for the highly anticipated Apple Watch just opened to the public, but there’s another smartwatch that you may want to hold off for. The Apple II Watch—created by a member of Instructables—offers the “basic user interface” and 8-bit glory of the iconic Apple II computer, but for your wrist. The nostalgic “smart” device actually runs and comes equipped with two miniature floppy disks and a functioning CRT display. You can learn how to build your own on Instructables.

COOL HUNTING always gets permission to use the images we publish; however, as an independent publication, we cannot afford to continue fighting unfair claims of copyright infringement, so the images have been removed from this post.
